Last year Crooked Trails began a program to help families in the high Andes develop ways to provide more nutrition for their children. We started with cows and now we need chickens. For $20 you will receive a photo and letter from the community.

Ladakh, India
$115 per student per year.
One of the projects Boarding school girlstarted by monks that live high in the Himalayas in Lingshed, Ladakh was a boarding school for older children to get a higher education. There are now 40 studnets from Lingshed attending school in Leh and the boarding school needs $115 per child per year to continue to feed, house and offer additional educational activities. For your donation of $115 per year you will receive a photo of your sponsored child and a letter from Geshela Nawang Junchup, the monk who overseas the project. Keep in touch directly with Geshela and your child over the year and you will be assured to receive more letters and photos.
